You are hereEurope / Regions

Europe can be sub-divided into different regions, depending on climate, geographical situation, cultural and religious factors.

A way of exploring Europe is focusing on a special region per visit. For further ideas what to visit in the countries, please refer to the respective country chapter. It is very important to choose the right season for each region, otherwise the temperatures will not allow an appropriate way of travelling (either too hot or too cold). The best months of travelling are marked in the third column.
